PROPER  PAINT

         MANAGEMENT

• Measure and buy only what you need
• Use all that you buy
• Use leftovers to paint closets, doghouses, garages, etc.
• Donate leftovers to parks, churches, theater groups, etc.
• Store paint properly for future use
• Seal lids tightly and keep labels readable

  If disposal of LATEX PAINT is necessary:

Remove lids if no more than half full

Set out in well ventilated area away from children & pets

Add paint hardener, kitty litter, sawdust, or sand to accelerate drying time

(drying may take several hours or days)

Once paint is thoroughly dried & hardened, it can be placed with household trash for disposal, as it is no longer a hazardous material

NEVER dispose of paint on the ground, pour it down the sink, or dump it in a water way.
