Education Tips / Tools

Recycling needs to be a habit not a chore. Think of recycling in terms of mowing the yard, folding laundry or cleaning your room; not always are these things we enjoy doing but they must be done from time to time to maintain our lifestyles. Education and repetition is the most effective way to develop good habits. The habits we instill today in our community youth will benefit future generations. Hancock County Solid Waste Management District has access to many coarse specific curriculums relating to social studies, math, science and economics.  In-classroom presentation may be scheduled or curriculum guides may be borrowed from the Hancock County Solid Waste Management District Environmental Services Office to meet current Ohio Education Standards. Please contact 419-424-7210 or e-mail HancockSWMD@co.hancock.oh.us for more information about these programs.

SANDUSKY STREET, FINDLAY FOR TRAINING, SCHEDULING & THE PROPER PAPERWORK OTHERWISE YOUR Service HOURS WILL NOT COUNT TOWARD YOUR court requirements.
