Education Tips/Tools
Recycling needs to be a habit not a chore.  Education and repetition is the most effective way to develop habits.  The habits we instill today in our community youth will benefit future generations.  Hancock County Solid Waste Management District has access to many coarse specific curriculums relating to social studies, math, science and economics. An in-classroom presentation may be scheduled or curriculum guides may be barrowed from the Environmental Services Office.  Please contact the Environmental Services office for more information about these programs.
