What is Recycling?
Simply stated, recycling is collecting and turning used material
such as papers, plastic, aluminum, glass and cardboard into new
products by reprocessing and remanufacturing instead of throwing
them away as garbage or trash.
What Is Recyclable?
The Solid Waste Management
District is currently unable to offer a pick-up curbside recycling
program to our residents.
Curbside programs are available through
a local provider and various community waste haulers.
If you are
interested in subscribing and receiving curbside recycling services
please contact
AE Recycling at
419-422-7771or your local
waste haul provider for curbside availability.
Why Recycle?
1. Recycling saves energy.
2. Recycling conserves natural resources.
3. Recycling saves land.
4. Recycling reduces litter.
5. Recycling preserves our environment.
